    .mcf file missing

Quick question: I had to download the Japanese version of TMPGEnc. My trial version days were up. The Japanese version doesn't have a PAL DVD.mcf. Is there a way to remedy this so I can continue to convert my PAL dvd's to the NTSC format?

    Thanks,

If I tried out a free trial version of a program and really found it useful I'd buy it. That's why the companies give free trials

No, I agree. At this moment I don't have the cash.

Sweet! If you download the Japanese one you can "try" it longer? I will do that, cuz my trial expired. And I would buy it, but I don't have a credit card, which makes that kinda hard.

I use NTSC, so no problem for me!

Actually, I have TMPGENC DVD Author. Hope this trick works on that too!

Going to check out Dvdlab. See how that works. Thanks, LT. Columbo. So TMPGEnc encodes the files? What is encoding?

                Updates soon.

So the conversion to mpeg 1 or 2 is called encoding.
