    "Recorder: <HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GSA-4081B>Version: A100 "
Update your firmware. You are 3 versions behind. Go here and download "A106" - http://forum.rpc1.org/dl_firmware.php?download_id=1757

Make sure you have the latest firmware for your burner. That will ensure more media compatibility.

    Installing your firmware:

    1. Don't run any other programs at the same time
    2. Don't have any disc in your burner at the same time
    3. Restart your PC after you have flashed it.

    "Physical memory : 255MB (261616kB)
    Free physical memory: 90MB (92432kB)
    Memory in use : 64 %"
I really would suggest in getting some more memory (RAM) for your computer. Until then, free up some system memory. All of those icons next to your PC's clock. Right click on them, then left click on "Exit" before you start burning. You can also go here to learn how to stop these programs from starting up every time you reboot. - http://forum.digital-digest.com/showthread.php?t=56373

    "Burn process started at 8x (11,080 KB/s) "
I recommend burning at 2X, no faster than 4X though.

Thankyou so much for your help. It seems that I have done the wrong thing by posting two threads, (which I knew was not acceptable) but my other thread had a different error report that I needed help with. I'll do what you have told me and see how I go. Thanks again
