Can't open downloads!!!
Help me! I've downloaded the stuff recomended to do AVI to VCD and I can't open the .zip!! If I can't get this far I should probably hang it up huh? Please help a dummy!!

do you mean you can't open the .zip file because it has a problem/error when you try and do it, or you don't actually know how to get into the zip file?
if its the first, then try downloading it again as there may have been a problem in the file download.
if its the second then you need a program like WinZip or PowerArchiver to open the zip file. you can get both from www.download.com by typing their names in the box on the top-right hand side of the page. but you're right - if you don't know how to open a zip file, then you really shouldn't be playing around with digital video.
