Problem encoding video with Tmpgenc

      well you first have to encode an avi file to dvd compliant mpeg-2 stream, then the next step is to author it. finally burn. below is a guide that i use. it's how to convert an avi to dvd from start to finish. towards the end is the authoring stage using tmpgenc dvd author (different than tmpgenc plus used for encoding) you can start there for that mpeg-2 file it looked dvd compliant from what i recall in the screenshot. if it wasn't you would encode it the same as an avi. hope this is enough to get you started.
