    Avi to dvd

    High,

Great site btw loads a q+a's, but i cant find what im looking for:

Im using nero to convert avi's to dvd which all works great but the time for the "transcoding" takes for ever (bout the same lenght as the avi) so if i want to burn 5 x 40 min avi's to dvd it takes 200 min transcoding + 15 mins to write to the disk..

Is there any way of speeding this process up??

    Any help would be appreciated

    Cheers n peace

Game consoles generally don't make the best players, and like you said, have restrictions on what they recognize. Playing DVDs is an added benefit, not really their strong point.
