Error when burning AVI's

When I try to burn anything in an AVI format, my burn aborts about 10 min. in. Why? I use Nero Vision Express3, which I like, but my research has lead me to believe its riddled with problems. When the burn aborts, I get an error saying unable to create disc structure. Now, I use quality discs, and never have this problem burning any other format. Is this because I'm missing a plug-in or some type of coverter. I tried DVD Shrink and it cannot find the file so, I'm stuck. Can someone point me in the right direction.

Another thread. Most people seem to convert their avi's before burning, usually using TMPGEnc or something similar. Don't do much of this myself. There are some guides in these forum links as well. Hope it helps!

If u want to burn an AVI in a DVD u have to burn it as Data-DVD.
If u want to burn an AVI in a DVD format,u first have to convert the AVI to a DVD and then burn with the option DVD-Video.
