how to send video via internet

Sorry, a bit off topic. I have a few minutes worth of camcorder video i want to send to someone via the internet but am not sure how to do it in its simplest way. can anyone advise please.I know I will probably have to convert it but its what i do after that that i am stuck with.

Upload ur video to some websites that offer file hosting for free.Then send the link to ur friend who can then download it.Or send it to ur friend via yousendit.com.
