    Please help me with this

ok, this is what my video format is for one of my episodes. Video formats and audio formats are also known as streams right? Anyways this is it :

    512 x 384, 24 Bits, 73018 Frames, 23.976 Frames/Sec, 217 KB/Sec, DIVXMPG4 V3

The resoulution is 512 x 384. So what? What's the differene between a high rez and a low rez. NExt: the second part says 24 bits, what's this mean? Why is it there. Next: 217 KB/Sec, DIVXMPG4 V3 is what it says near the end. i don't understand these. What's the 217/kb/sec for and why doese it say mpg4v3? PLease help me with these questions. I really need the help.

Your terminoligy seems a bit messedup, the word stream generally refer to, a sequence of some media content, ie. a sequence of video frames, or a sequence of audio samples.
Formats usually refer to the either the compression codec used to compress the audio and video or the format of the decode streams.

There is no fixed definition of high rez or low rez.

Just means that the default output colordepth is 24 bits, make sure you desktop colordepth is set to at leaset 24 bit.

217 KB/sec is the Video bitrate used when it was encoded (it's a quality measure).

mpg4v3 is the codec used to compress the video, you can get it from, Microsoft with wmp8 encoder utilities, or from one of the codec packs at www.divx-digest.com
