Changing Booktype/Disc Information

Hi all,
wanted to know 1.) how can i find out if imgburn has changend the booktype on my dvd+r? it still shows after the burning process booktype: dvd+r.
but nero cd-dvd speed shows booktype: dvd-rom. is Nero more reliable?
and 2.) do you know if the lg gsa-4166b (firmware 1.02; it supports booktype changing) memorizes bitsetting. I did a reboot and burned a second dvd+r with imgburn without changing booktype and nero cd-dvd speed shows me booktype: dvd-rom.

You are looking up at the top of the log in Imgburn(right hand pane),
down below it shows the as burned booktype.

LG's don't remember booktype and require setting with imgburn after every reboot, unless you run a special batch file(Blutach uses it with his LG).
Evidently nero resends the command with each burn?

Here is the disc information in imgburn. It shows current profile: dvd+r and book type: dvd+r. but I changed the booktype before burning the disc.
nero shows disc type:dvd+r and book type:dvd-rom.

ok, sorry my fault!
hope you can help me to understand why imgburn has changed the book type of this disc to dvd-rom even though I did a reboot and didn´t changed the book type before starting the burn process.
I am a bit confused because my writer is a lg.

You can set the book type on an LG drive with most software such as Nero or ImgBurn. The book type setting stays until you reboot the system, after which you have to reset the book type again. The exception to this rule is the GSA-4166B which automatically book types DVD+R and DVD+DL discs to DVD-ROM by default.
