Is it possible to rip a small part of a DVD movie to quicktime movie format for insertion into a music video software program? I want to be able to write new music for the clip.
Load avi into virtualdub select and save region of the movie you want to edit, with no audio. Video should be in "direct stream copy"
Close Virtualdub.
Restart the program, load the audio (cbr mp3 if wav convert to cbr mp3) with the file and save.
Get quicktime pro, or avi2mov, or radtools, tmpgenc may help if you install the qtreader plug-in, also try adobe premiere to convert to quicktime format.
