How do I display frame count?

Hello,

I'm trying to use a s/w decoder to analyze movies and I need to know the precise frame count of a given shot. I have tried PowerDVD and DVD Express and neither seem able to display that information. Any help would be appreciated...my analysis is due tonite!!!

If the format is .AVI (ANY codec) or MPEG1, load it into VirtualDub (Use the slider at the bottom and the information that appears under the "Edit" dropdown menu)...
