    Video volume problems

    Hello there all,

I'm wondering if anyone can help me with a problem I have concerning volume in videos. I have some videos that I would like to play on a standalone divx player hooked up to my tv. However when I put these videos onto a dvd, the volume on these videos are all different. For instance sometimes I have to put the volume up on the tv to beable to listen and then on the next video I have to lower the volume as it goes far too loud.

I've come across programmes that can easily "normalize" mp3 tracks, but is there any (free) programmes that can be used to make the volume on a group of videos all the same?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

      hello there,

Thanks for that, but mp3gain only seems to work for mp3/audio files. I need to do this with video files.

      Thanks
