subtitles are getting cut off.

I have Divx AVI's of a japanese Anime called Weiss Kruez, and i have a HP DVD-RW drive. I have DVD-R's because they play on PS2's. I succeded in putting the episodes on disks using HP-DVD, but i the subtitles keep getting cut off. I want to shrink the entire picture, and leave black bars around the entire picture, so the whole image will fit on the TV. I tried downloading After Effects, but it never loads up, it just shows the logo then terminates. so my question is this.


How do i make the whole picture all show on my TV?


this could mean, How do i get AF to work, what other prog do i use, or is there an option in HPDVD?

Are you able to watch your "DivX AVI" OK - I assume off of your Hard Drive? If so, what program do you watch it with when you are not having any problem?

Do you mean the $300+ Adobe After Effects? If you bought it Adobe will certainly help you get it to work.

With all due respect, you don't ****ing know me. Looks like you are just taking this chance to pay out on me for some reason. Fact is that you haven't helped Plae2Hall at all. All you have mangaged to do is steer this post off topic.

If you can help Plae2Hall then do so.

I already posted a suggestion in the other thread to use FitCD. Just load the avi, set the number of blocks overscan (default should be fine) along with destination (NTSC DVD presumably) and AR. It then resizes to the correct resolution taking overscan into account. So no more subtitles getting cut off. In other words a solution to Plae2Hall's problem.

If you can't then make room for those that can.
