Anyone Had This Problem??

I am trying to rip a DVD and I get the message "Error: video_ts.ifo declares 6VTS and I am finding only 2 on the disc." (Please keep in mind I am a total computer retard.) When I have still burned a copy of this anyway, the DVD skips and pixilates. How do you fix this error???
