    AVI Synchronise

    I am trying to get audio sync.
    I have an avi file that is out, I have downloaded 'Terabits avi info, from 'nickyguides.digital-digest.com/audio-synch.htm'.
    I can play the file using wmp, using terabits there is no audio displayed the file is not is use by any other application.
    Any tips appreciated, but please not to teccie. thanks

    Hi Steve,

    Not sure what exactly is your problem ... but from reading your post over and over ... I can offer couple of things that might help you or guide you in a right direction ...

    1) Use program called GSpot to get more info about your AVI clip. Also it is more updated program.
    Download GSpot, a video codec identification utility


    2) Maybe you can post back ... what exactly is your problem with your Audio Sync ...
    A) Is Audio Leading your Video?
    B) or is Audio Lagging?
    C) Is this an original AVI or did you put together your Video and Audio? If so, are the length of your Video and Audio equal to begin with?
    D) or are you loosing audio sync only in parts of the movie?

      This is an AVI I made. I copied a pop concert from VHS to pc using TV Card. I will look into gspot.
