Sound out od Sync

Hello,

Using CladDVDXP and Virtual Dub.

I have successfully converted my VOB files and WAV to an AVI and all is well except the sound is out of sync. I have the sound set as follows: interleave audio every 500ms and prload 500ms at the begining. I have tried playing with the audio skew correction but with no real success. I don't know if it makes any difference but the bitrate conversion i used was 1800. Any ideas??

If you've retained the audio in .WAV format or converted it to .MP3, set the interleave to "1 Frame" rather than every 500 milleseconds...

I actually re-compressed the whole lot again last night and the problem seemed to go away??? I don't know why.. but I will try your suggestion if it happens again

It "went away" when you used VIrtualDub again, because VirtualDub DEFAULTS to an interleave of 1 Frame...
