just asking again since I found out that under
US CODE § 107. Limitations on exclusive rights: Fair use

Notwithstanding the provisions of sections 106 and 106A, the fair use of a copyrighted work, including such use by reproduction in copies or phonorecords or by any other means specified by that section, for purposes such as criticism, comment, news reporting, teaching (including multiple copies for classroom use), scholarship, or research, is not an infringement of copyright. In determining whether the use made of a work in any particular case is a fair use the factors to be considered shall include—
(1) the purpose and character of the use, including whether such use is of a commercial nature or is for nonprofit educational purposes;
(2) the nature of the copyrighted work;
(3) the amount and substantiality of the portion used in relation to the copyrighted work as a whole; and
(4) the effect of the use upon the potential market for or value of the copyrighted work.

The fact that a work is unpublished shall not itself bar a finding of fair use if such finding is made upon consideration of all the above factors.

My subject is and I quote "Blacks attuides towards the war. *MUST INCLUDE AT LEAST ONE SONG OF THE TIME PRO OR ANTI-WAR*"

So I wanted the clips of everyone singing the song "Age of Aquris (sp)" and than show the hostily towards the war when, the black guy (I forget his name) tells the white guy (forgot his name too) that if the shoe was on the other foot that he wouldn't go and would burn his draft card. Than I was going to follow it with part that both the white and black draftees are being inspected to show how African Americans still came to the call of duty. Of course this is all going to go in a power point and I will explain things before showing the clips. If you have any more ideas I would love to hear them.

unfortunaly it is time specific because it is a Vietnam class, but I will check the movie out some time, it looks pretty good. Thank you Gary

Like Nightran says: "just reauthor in shrink what ever part you want." You'll see it in Full Disc at first just hit the Re-author button... then you'll see main movie drag it to the box on the left (dvd structure)there will a button on top like this |-> <-| hit that, then an edit box will come up and you see where you can stop and start the parts of the story you want!
