viewing photos on dvd?

Is it possible to store images/photo's from digital camera on to cd that can be viewed on a dvd player?

If so what do I have to do? tried copying files to cd using nero but dvd did not recognise?

You can use Blaze MediaPro to create a video of the images in .AVI format. You can then use TMPGEnc (or similar) to convert the .AVI to MPEG1-VideoCD format...
