spotty flickering screen
I've just installed a CD RW / DVD rom and it came bundled with PowerDVD 3.
PowerDVD 3 didn't work at first (the TV out port message) so I downloaded the patch and it worked!
But.
On playing a DVD, the screen is filed with flickering dots. On closer examination I discovered that the dots are an unchanging array of black and white dots covering the bottom half of the screen in 1 frame, then an array covering the top half in the next frame, then a completely dot-free frame. So, when the DVD plays, it looks like mass of flickering dots.
The graphics card is an nvidia riva tnt2 m64.
I've tried every combination of settings I can think of, but still the dots.
Any any ideas?
