Let me tell you one cardinal rule first- Stop using NERO for any job except for Data CD/DVD burning.

Download MediaInfo http://sourceforge.net/project/showf...ease_id=488496 and post its report here.

Though I think the problem is there in the original avi file.

Are you looking just for a player to watch them first?

Windows Media player Classic is free and works great.

Or are you looking for something to convertthe avi2dvd is more for converting.

No what i mean is, i downloaded some anime with subtitles that are on the video...and then i took them to nero 7 ultra edition and used Nerovision, so i put all the files in there, set where the burner was and the recording speed...when that was done i took it out and put it on my DVD Player the quality was good so was the audio but i noticed that the subtitles were there but i could only see the top half but not the bottom...and i been lookin for help on how to resize the avi clip

Whatever you are facing is happening due to Overscan. You need to use some other software to encode the original files to DVD. Otherwise if you are interested to just watch the original downloaded files without converting those to DVD then you have to live with this overscan problem as this is the feature of your original file which I think added the sub separately during encoding.

Still i do not think we can really help you unles you provide some concrete information about the codec of your video files and clearly state what exactly you want to do with those.

                    Hello KnightWalker.

AVI2DVD will surely work for you.

BTW, you still have not posted the details of your media files. The extension of a media file never shows what codec is used. It only shows that the container of your media file is AVI. That is why I asked you to download MediaInfo. Please try to trust the people who help you here .

Here is the download link for AVI2DVD: http://www.trustfm.net/divx/SoftwareAvi2Dvd.html

Here are some guides for you:

A basic guide on converting your AVI/DivX/XviD video files to DVD format using Avi2Dvd

This is a great one click solution. Remember to use HCEnc as your free encoder. If you decide to use it please let us know here, I shall tell you how to update the included HCEnc to the latest available version.
