SVCD audio sync problem please

I have amovie on SVCD but the audio is out of sync,VCD play ok on my standalone DVD player ,can I convert it back to just VCD so I can fix the audio problem.The movie is on 4 discs how can I do it.Thanks I appreciate any help.

"Quick and Dirty" SVCD to VCD

Use TMPGEnc as follows:

File>>MPEGTools>>Simple Multiplex

Load your SVCD file

Change mode to "MPEG1-VideoCD"

Enter a new filename in the "Output" box

Press the "Run" radio button

(Do not be concerned about any "Buffer underflow" messages you may see)

Burn (DO NOT ask burning software, such as NERO to CONVERT to VCD, rather merely BURN as a VCD)

not sure I understand SETARIP but I will give it a go as soon as my (MS) multiple sclerosis settles down having a minor relapse.thanks
