I got an error during encoding:

      dvdauthor.txt vobu 320at 103mb,1gcs

there was several the only difference was 320-345

Pretty sure I know what the error was..... I ran out of space on my hard drive...wot wot wot.

tis sad, the moment you realize you really need to upgrade your comp and cant.

How do I test a project saved in iso?

nm I think I figured it out, hopefully this is the last question on this topic.
Imgburn gave me a message saying these 5 episodes were too big to put on the disc. Dvd flicks configured it right? or am I doing something wrong again?

          Hi Jensen,

I am a little confused on your last Q ...

What do you mean "DVDFlick" configured it Right? Are you telling us or asking?

Q: BTW, how big is the size of your completed DVDFlick file?

          G!

              These are 22min clips each
5 of these at 223MB ea(higher bitrate) should still fit on a SL dvd unless you did something like changing the output bitrate and converting to 5.1 sound

it's less than 2 hours of video

when setting up the 5 episodes in dvd flicks, it automatically set birate to 4800 for the 4.3 gig disc. - so at this point after checking all setting (where I thought they should be) I clicked "create dvd" and at the end got the error when imgburn tried to set a burn.

Chewy Ill try and see if maybe I did set the audio wrong.
(back already) I loaded the settings and the only thing I changed were :Target format to ntsc,
create iso image, and in title edit I put :create chapters on every new source.

inside the folder where flick saves the conversion is a dvdflick.log

                    this is the important part

1:32:06 PM: Encoding to NTSC format, 29,97 FPS

Chewy I see you edited my last reply, so I started a new one. I have successfully burned a disc thru dvd flicks and imgburn. Im stoked. I use my ps3 as my primary dvd player, it read as a "data disc" file format mpeg2. Is this the right way? I mean it works and thats important, but is there a better way? Another thing I just noticed, to go to the next episode I have go back to the ps3 video menu. And sadly now i realize my reg dvd-vhs combo wont play it.
btw I did save the log from the burn.

that's the problem with imgburn, it was set up for burning iso's and when Luk added build mode so you could burn dvd video files if you answer one of the questions wrong then you make a data dvd not a video one

I know I have been there and done that

So then the burning is figured out pretty much, as far as converting AVI to DVD , is 2hrs about the right amount of time it takes to do so??
