Removing adverts from DVD TV recordings

I suspect this has been posted before but i cant find One so may I beg your indulgence . I would like as many before to remove the adverts in a recorded Tv program Your assistance Please
Would you be so kind as to resort to ABC and 123 level

I've downloaded the 'trial version' but found once again this reluctant by the software houses to give instructions...
I know and appreciate the impute and support of forums but With no idea which settings to use the program is almost useless to a 'Twp' like me. Further help/advice would be much appreciated

Open your recordings in VRD. Now click Ad-Detective and do a scan.
It is well explained in the program HELP.
