Does this cable modem look like a router?

Hi everyone. I have a few sites here. Will someone please confirm this is or not a cable modem with router combo? I know it is a cable modem but is it a router? It is a DPC2100.

Here is the picture of my modem: http://www.simplehelp.net/2006/07/17...lanta-dpc2100/

Here is the info about it: You most likely going to need Adobe Acrobat Reader to open it.

it supports 64 users, that would technically make it a router, with a nat, however lame?

it has no integrated switch so you would have to put a hub or switch downstream for
    simultaneous connections

Oh ok. I have nothing like that. I tried typing my Default Gateway and IP into my browser and it can't be displayed. I wanted to go into the interface. Could we please troubleshoot? If I have to sit here all morning I will. It is now 1:05 am and I have not got to bed. Port Forwarding in the interface is most important. How ever, I refuse to post the ipconfig /all output in here. chewy, If you want me to I can PM you with the output? Would that be the first step for the Tech Support of the technicians? I am being serious.

That device is not a router, nor does it have a NAT layer. It is a DOCSIS cable modem ONLY. The "64 users" referred to in the manual is, I suspect, merely an imposed limit that would only apply if sharing it via hub or switch, probably for the purpose of controlling maximum traffic.

evidently the modem can assign 31 ip addy's thru ethernet, reserving one for usb
