I ran accross a problem recently and am curious if someone has a solution. I recently shot a television commercial on an XL2 in widescreen format and delivered a tape to the local television station. When they showed it, the video was stretched to fit a 4:3 aspect TV. They suggested I needed to export a letterbox version of the video to them in 4:3. If I import the video into PP CS3 and scale it to fit will this then create a problem for viewing on widescreen TVs? Other than never shooting a commercial in widescreen, is there something I should do differently to remedy this in the future? Is there a tool in PP that I am unaware of? Help is greatly appreciated.
