OK- sorry if this has been gone over before (I searched and read a few posts about it). I (actually my wife) wants me to transfer a bunch of old VHS-C tapes to a DVD. After seaching Newegg, Amazon and others it looks like people either love or hate PCI video cards or USB capture devices. I looked at the Hauppauge PVR-150 as someone here suggested, but it looks like it's laking in audio inputs. I'm going to transfer tapes directly from my VCR (camcorder is long gone). I looked into table-top combo VHS-DVD recorders but I didn't find any that had really good reviews. I'm not looking into doing a bunch of editing- just a direct transfer of the tapes to DVD.
