Help with burning Dvd

I need help on dvd burning i have wasted 9 disk using 16 x dvd how do i tell weather i should use 16 x or 8 x i have burned a lot of movies with the 16 x and not a problem with these movies this is the disk i mostly use to burn.

I new to this posting and not sure how to do what you are aking?

hopefully you are using a burning software like nero or imgburn that saves a log file?

I am using dvdfab

that software violates our rule 19 so can't help with that part
