mpg 2 wmv??

Hi all

I've searched through this forum but alas I can't find anything on mpg 2 wmv - so sorry if this is (as I'm sure it is to the experienced) old hat!

I'm trying to use FlaskMpg _0594_AMD (which I think is 'the' tool for conversion?) and the wmv codec to convert several mpg1s to wmv, but Flask just crashes when I hit covert and displays multiple dialogs containing asci.

I've tried the 'original' Flask, but that appears to be in German!

Would be much appreciated if you would point me in the right direction.

It's easy when you know how!

Still not sure why the wmv plugin fails but just decode the mpg to uncompressed avi and encode using Windows Media Encoder 8 - don't forget to download a GUI for it though....makes it a little more friendy.

Now why MS can't write a Windows front end for their own encoder I don't know!!!!!
