Hello All,
I was looking for software to accomplish a task at work. I am a network administrator with many years of computer experience. The technical aspect will be easy to learn. Just getting the right software packages together is the issue.
I want to take video from many different sources with many different formats. Satellite TV, Store bought DVD’s and the Internet to paste together into one single DVD.
I have the following equipment:
I was trying to use InterVideo WinDvd creator 3. Appears to have limitations, probably not the best choice. Any suggestions?
I figured the best advice is from professionals. So I created a user id on this forum. I don’t mind purchasing software and reading the manual.
You wont need to reply like I am 3 years old but maybe 10. I understand enough but not enough to produce a quality project.

- Monster TV video capture device – works great for the satellite recording
- Plextor DVD burner. Has dual layer capability
- 50 DVD –R and 25 DVD+R DL
- DVD copying software. Easy to burn DVD’s to the hard drive or make copies
