Converting FLV?

hows it,

I need to convert some flv i capped off myspace and youtube of old footage i lost on an HD.

What format is best to convert to, and more importantly, what program will convert flash for me?

I tried to use VLC but couldn't make it work...

Any suggestions?

Personally I like Super for conversion. I convert to avi for the PC or If I want to watch it on the TV I use DVD flick.

Firstly...

Get DownloadHelper, download format 18 on YouTube, that'll be mpeg-4 and much better quality.

Secondly, Riva FLV Encoder. It does a great job of converting to/from FLV formats, much better than SUPER at least. And it's free.

i think mp4 is the best formart for you.
i suggest you to try iSharesoft Video Convertr Standard to convert your flv. i find this software several days ago,very fast and easy to use. it's not a simple program for converting flv to mp4, it can convert between the most popular format,such as AVI, MPEG, WMV, DivX, MP4, MPEG-4 AVC, RM, MOV, XviD, 3GP, FLV,even HD videos.

and, the most important,it's cheaper than anyother programs.only $19.95.
