Logical Block Address Out of Range

I've been using Imgburn with DVD Flick for quite sometime now. Of late had the above error in most of my burned dvds (todate wasted 20 discs). Tried burning at 2.4x manually with Imgburn (was advised in the forum). With a DVD-RW no problem but with my DVD-R the same problem persists. I've been through your forum but none seems to help.

I've tried to update my firmware but came out as an error too (unable to detect...). I'm attaching my log down here. Please help.

I've just tried burning another DVD-R with 4x speed and it seems to have the same error. I tried it out with the DVD-RW again and it was flawless. I'm attaching my latest error log. Please help.

Buy better better instead of the CMC stuff. Upgrade your ImgBurn to 2.5.0.0

          Thanks a lot Blutach.

I realise that it could be my disc problem. It's just that I have NEVER EVER used any other blank discs besides my HP dvd-r or dvd+r all these years (this is the first time I'm having a major problem with my burning).

And also, the same batch of discs burned quite ok earlier. And recently, I had reformatted my C Drive and I'm not sure if that has affected the setting of my DVD burner. I've read the Golden Rules of Burning too. My DMA setting for the Primary Device is at Ultra Mode 5 (Device 0 & 1) but for the secondary it is "DMA if available" and "Not applicable" for current transfer mode. Sorry, but I just want to rule out all the possibilities.

Another thing is that I did make a purchase of TDK dvd+r recently(prior to me signing up to this forum) since I'll be depleting my Hp discs. Is it ok to use them other than Verbatim or TY?

          Thanks to you too, Cynthia.

In fact, when I was going through the forum, I did try to download the firmware for Lite-on. However, it came out as
          "No matched drive detected.
This utility is only for ATAPI DVD A DHP18A3P drive.
          Detected drives : 0-0-0-0 I.Sony CDRWDVD CRX310EE SDK3
          0-0-1-0 F:ATAPI DVD A DH18A3P AP54"

Hope you can advise me. I've never been so into this techno mumbo jumbo before and I have no idea what's going on. Really appreaciate all the advise/ suggestions I can get from you guys.
