    Flaskmpeg

Is flask mpeg really that good of an encoder? I am usin gNanub right now and am getting like 10fps. I was hoping for something a little faster.

Make sure you set Nandub to use fast recompression.
If you launched the encoding from GordianKnot this is done automatically.

Ok I don't know what I did but somehow I managed to get a very nice looking divx at a very low low filesize. the only thing is that the sound isn't added yet. I have an ac3 file of the exact movie that is like 130 mb. is there a program that will add the audio to the movie?

Use nandub to mux ac3 or vbr mp3 files with divx avi's.

The final filesize will be the size of the 2 files plus about 0.5-1% of the total.

Ok i managed to do something and i loaded the AC3 file and then grabbed my .avi file and hit the button that makes it all work nice and neat. Now it came out at a very suprisingly low size with great quality. however it is going slow and all the voices sound real deep. Like when you slow down a record player. Is there something i can do?

I have the same problem, but i can play the movie using the "old" mediaplayer.
the "old" mediaplayer should be on your hd
                  \programs files\windows media player\mplayer2.exe
if you can't find it there, then search for the file "mplayer2.exe"
with that player i can play divx with AC3 without any probs
