Hey all... I've browse around this forum and seen some great advise.. Hopefully it's my turn to get some great advise...
Here's the deal.. I'm triing to burn movies, vid, mpgs, etc to DVD for DVD viewing... The other day i found what i thought was GREAT software.. Nero Vision.... Maybe i'm doing somehitng wrong.. I put a DVD on it in MPG format i believe.. and i tested it.. Seems to work fine although NO chapters.. whcich is ok.. But when i tried it a second time with a couple movies which do fit.. It will either error out or when played in a DVD player show part of the movie and be frozen..
While it transcodes in Nero you can see the whole movie playing.. But when it comes to actually playing the movie it doens't
I've tired going down to as little as 2 movies with and without creating chapters... The DVD i did with ONE movie works.. Is that just what i need to do? If so that is fine to.. But i've gone through about 7 or 8 DVD's so far and STILL really don't know what i need to do..
My buddy told me to get a program called NTI that works great, but it seems likt this NERO VISION will do everything i want it to, but i don't know what it's not..
Anyone have any experience with this or possibly know what i'm doing wrong?
I DO have DVD shrink, which from what i see only really needs to be used if i had an ACTAULLY dvd to try and copy, but with this DL'd MPGS and other vid formats i don't think it can be used.
I've also tried just dropping it within NERO express in a video_ts file, but then it says it's the wrong format... SO i thught when NERO vision is transcoding, that was what i needed to do..
