    The Aviator

    I backed up The Aviator using Nero Recode2 and the latest version of AnyDVD. I used this combination successfully over 150 times. This time it came out with a bluish cast. The grass on the golf course is blue. The leaves on the trees are blue. None of the colors are true. There is no green whatsoever. WTF? Has anyone else had such an experience? Any suggestions?

    Not Nero Recode's fault. Sounds as a TV setting issue. or DVD player setting.

      Not TV or DVD player fault. All other DVD's play OK.

          It's not "bluish". It is BLUE. When he crashes a plane in a field, all the foilage is blue.

              Mutation...

              Could it be a PAL/NTSC issue?

                  @cynthia

                  @cynthia someone told me that NTSC should be NaTSC " Not always The Same Color" . Of course he was on a PAL system.

                  I have a couple of DVD's that have a setup in there where they want you to adjust your TV using their colors/patterns so you can enjoy the movie "the way it was meant to be seen". Shoot, I can't remember the names of them. Does "The Aviator" have that by any chance?

                    It's the original movie and the backup.

                        I just played my original that I just got and at 00:47:21 into the movie when the plane is in the field. the grass/plants looks blue and the top of the right wing that looked flat black before now looks blue. Aslo when he walks in the house after the scene in the field all the hanging plants look blue. I think the guy that did the colorization had a few too many

                          jm1647 - Here is the scene with the plants to which you make reference. I can't believe a movie with such serious defects could win so many awards.

                              OK. I just found these. They confirm that I am not crazy. Scroll about half way down on each one and read about the blue scenes and why they are that way. Personally I think this sucks and, in my opinion, ruins the movie. Who ever ate blue peas or saw blue grass?
