nero 7 burning problems

i have tryed everything but throw the kitchen sink at this nero 7trying to make a dvd from camcorder,composit analog video,when i capture in nero.the video is choppy on rec to harddrive.and after put to dvd its the same choppy video..any help whould be great thanks
