nero showtime

i have nero ultra 7. I suddenly have problems playing .avi files and music files using nero showtime 2...Did i corrupt a file? It plays dvds fine...and i have tried uninstalling and reinstalling....anyone has any idea why?

I used Nero Showtime and I noticed it tends to show blur around some images go with media player classic or a least give it a try
