audio problems

hi im not sure if this is the right place for this if it isnt im sorry

i got some avi files that I have split in 2 so i can put them to vcd.
all the files play properly on my pc
i am using nero to make them to vcd
when i have burnt to disc some of the sound on some of the discs is either something totally different than that is on the film on the pc or it sounds like its under water

not sure wot i am doing wrong I made vcd's before without any trouble

anyone got any ideas?

How did u go about making the VCD from AVI?
