Recode backup of dvd fails - Navigation structure invalid

Hi (new girl here)

I am trying to use Nero Recode to backup my Davinci Code dvd. It gives a similar error to dvd shrink (my old backup tool) -

"An internal error occured. A VOBU address is out of bounds. This may be caused by an invalid DVD navigation structure."

Does anyone have an idea what this means? (Just for info as I am new to you guys, I always backup my DVDs and play from the backups as I have a large collection of movies and don't like getting the originals scratched)....
