    Compress Avi

Is there any Sotware to compress any AVI File to a lower size? Because some of mine are too big to burn!

just about any tool will let you do so by using a smaller bitrate.

Which one for example? I only have joining tools and with these ones I cannot use a bitrate...!?! (Peck's Power join for example)

VirtualDub will do the job. What file are you trying to shrink?

              Ahh...forgot about this one thread.

              1. Open file in Virtualdub
              2. Set Video to Full Processing Mode and Audio to Direct Stream Mode
              3. If you wish to shrink the video resolution as well, go to Video -> Filters and add the Resize filter. Input the new resolution and select bilinear (which is suitable for shrinking videos)
              4. Go to Video -> Compression and select the DivX codec you wish to use. Input the bitrate so that the final video is of the file size you wish to attain. The use of a bitrate calculator will come in handy here
              5. Go to File -> Save as AVI and give the new file a name.

That should do it for you.

Well ok, but Full Procession Mode takes a very long time right?

That depends on your system speed and amount of filter applied. Why don't you try it and determine how long it takes yourself?
