Can some help me plz!!!

Hi Everyone!
I have a divx backed up on CD bu the divx is now a little corrupted. I can use DivFix to fix it but i have to get the movie on to my computer first to be able to put it through DivFix as the file is 'Read-Only' on the CD. The problem is that when i try to copy the file from the CD on to my computer, i get an error message saying
'cannot copy: Data Error (cyclic redundancy check).'
and then it stops copying the file. Therefore i need some sort of software that will just rip the movie of the CD and put it on the hard drive so that i can fix it through DivFix. Or if someone can tell me what o do to be able to fix the divx will me really appreciated!

Sounds like your CD is corrupted (No such thing as a "little corrupted") - in which case, unfortunately, you're out of luck.

By the way, ALL files on CD-Rs are "read only", since you can't alter them once they've been burned...
