Divx 4.0 Difference With 5.0.2

Hello people i'm new to the forum.

I'm using DIVX 4.0 and I just downloaded the latest version of DIVX which is the 5.0.2. There are lots of new options and options change in version 5.0.2 which I just cant understand very well. Like I'll give an example:
Where is the "'Data Rate slider bar" or where are the keyframes? I know they are in there but the names have changed... that's actually why i'm kind of confuse.... I'm actually converting a DVD TO DIVX and since version 5.0.2 has so many other features and changed names i'm afraid i'm doing something wrong... this is the link i'm following to do this process http://nickyguides.digital-digest.com/flaskmpeg.htm

I am in the same boat. It seems the slider bar is on the first tab (left to right.) I am having a hard time figuring out what all the extras are that have been put into the new version. Anyone know of a guide out there to help with this. Much appreciated.

The codec being referred to in the guide is actually DivX 3.11. You may want to try this more updated guide from Doom9 instead.
