    Go to:
An open source DVD/MPEG/AVI conversion and editing tools

Scroll down through the ENTIRE page for all the variations...

Does VDub come with the "co" part of the mp3 codec?
I installed Radium mp3, and thought VDub sees and uses it just like any other codec. (BTW Radium is a hack of Frauenhofer IIS mp3 codec, giving encoding permission)
As for wave, that's just plain PCM, coding without compression (I wonder if it's a codec after all... just searched my audio codec listing, no, it's not there)
