    Xmpeg audio issues

I've used xmpeg for well over 6 months now with no problems. But right now I seemed to have lost all the audio codecs. The only choice I have for encoding audio is uncompressed PCM.

Any ideas anyone on how to get the mp3 or the divx audio codecs back.

Have you tried reinstalling the Radium MP3 codec?

This thread may be of some help to you.

For this issue and some others, look at [/b]Tips and tricks for Xmpeg 4.5 [/b] http://forum.digital-digest.com/show...threadid=10564

But it is presently better to use Xmpeg 5.0b you may dowload at http://www.mp3guest.com/Xmpeg_Index.asp?l=US. A very marvelous version

Having a problem in Xmpeg 4.5 that just started...

after compressing through the divx 5.05 codec I see a green vertical dotted line on either side of the movie and this runs from start to finish of movie.

maybe xmpeg is simply not fully compatible with latest divx 5.05?

                Hi!

I think that Xmpeg 4.5 is fully compatible with Divx 5.05 if you use it with 1 Pass or old 2 pass encoding methods but if you don't use any subtitle, it is better to use the new version Xmpeg 5.0b1 with his DVD.mism 5.0b - don't use the 5.0b2 version that presently crashes in nth pass encoding.
Xmpeg 5.0b is a great tool more easy to use, with very great result in 3 pass encoding
