To stop getting a jerky DivX5 AC3 448kbps file you have to manually mux the video and audio with nandub (or other) with 128ms preload and 128ms intervals.
If you wanted to do this correctly with Gordian Knot, it only has an option to enter FRAME intervals. As the correct frame interval would be per 3.2 frames, you can't do it. Is there any way of changing the option in Gordian Knot to a millisecond interval instead of frame interval? That way you wouldn't have to manually do it with nandub.
