DVD2AVI is weird about saving a project

This is a little strange. One day I am asking DVD2AVI to save a project file and it extracts a WAV file. Then I run it again another day and this time it pops out an AC3 file. What's up with that? Are there some settings I need to set to make it extract an AC3, because all the previous times that I have used the program it extracted AC3 but them sometimes a WAV comes out for no reason.

Under the Audio tab, check the audio extraction method for these two different formats: Dolby Digital & MPEG Audio. By the default, DVD2AVI will decode Dolby Digital sources to WAV and demux MPEG Audio.

Oh. I see. Does GordionKnot have the ability to encode from WAV to MP3? Whenever I ran it it just deleted the WAV and said it could not do anything with it.

What settings do I put to extract the audio to AC3? Is it "Demux All"?

And which setting to extract in WAV format?
