Problem With Ripitall!!! Please Help Me!

i'm trying to split an avi file
but when the splitting process is starting
it's givng me a massage: "Error opening file"
but the process still goes on
after it says: "Job done"
i enter the splitted movie
and the media player says:
"cannot play back the file, the format is not supported"

what is the problem?
please help it's important to me!

use virtualdubMOD to splitt your avi

the audio does not fit the video... and i already tried everything
