    ffdshow problems

I recently installed the fddshow filter pack, so I could have all the codec's I needed from one supposely easy to use piece of software.

However, upon clicking the configuration button, I get the following error: Error loading ffdshow.ax
One of the library files needed to run this application can not be found.

That's exactly the words it used. If anybody has had this problem before, or thinks they have the answer to my problems, then PLEASE let me know.

    Thanks

Perhaps you are missing the file msvcr70.dll? If necessary, try reinstalling FFDShow.

yeah, I just reinstalled ffdshow, and I got the same error.

I checked for that file, msvcr70.dll, and sure enough, it's missing. Should I try downloading a fresh copy of ffdshow or what?

You need to download the file msvcr70.dll and put it in /Windows/system32 folder . . .

Where can I find a place to down load the missing dll?

Note: During downtime, I downloaded a fresh copy, and still didn't get the required dll file.

Download wmvcore.dll free! Fix DLL missing error. Solve it yourself or get help using DLL‑files.com Client to fix DLL error automatically.

As far as I remember, the FFDShow installer does not come bundled with that file, so you need to manually search and download the DLL file.
