A title on a Divx file

Is it possible to put on the first photograms of a video file encoded with Divx 5.0.5 some text or other information just like several software can do on a VCD ?

Yes you can use a logo filter on VirtualDub.

You could make an image that had text in it then embed it into the movie.

Or create your own AVI file that was like a slide show then merge them together but you have to make sure you have an audio file for it even if it is blank because it will throw off audio sync
