Virtual Dub error help plz

First excuse my bad english but i'm French.

i use virtual dub since a longtime however i stopped to encode dvd during one year and now i try do it again.

But when i use virtual dub to join my wave and my avi (with a mp3 compression ) i have this error :

ERROR iNItializing audiostream compression.The requested conversion is not possible.

Could u explain me what is the matter ...

Are you certain that the .WAV file is, in fact, an Uncompressed PCM .WAV file?

and now you can (easily) do ogg vorbis instead of mp3

setarip has true that the wav which is corrupt however i obtain it with flask ... strange
