Problems with mpeg2dec3.dll using Gordian Knot 0.28.5

While backing up one of my DVD's to DivX using Gordian Knot 0.28.5, I get an error message after transcoding (BeSweet.exe)has finished that "Mpeg2dec3.dll" is not a valid avisynth 1.0 plugin and then the entire process stops and I am left with no avi file at the end. Any idea what the problem could be?

BTW my avisynth plugin directory is set to the Gordian Knot directory in the Program Paths tab in Gordian Knot. This was the default and I didn't know where else to set it to. Any help would be great.

      New avisynth version

I've tried it with the new and the old versions and it still gives me the same error. Should I use mpeg2dec.dll instead of the mpeg2dec3.dll?

Also, while attempting to do a Compressibility Check, I also get an error similar to the one described in my first post. (mpec2dec3.dll is not a valid avisynth 1.0 plugin).

Thanks for replying so quickly. I am anxious to successfully backup a DVD for the first time!

PS- Would it help if I posted screenshots of the error?

        magers,

Uninstall the Avisynth installation that you have (NOT the plug-ins!) and replace it with the more recent version of 2.5.

It works - new avisynth 2.5

It worked! Thanks for your help. I uninstalled avisynth and reinstalled version 2.5, and I also renamed virtualdubmod.exe to virtualdub.exe. I found that info on Avisynth.org website. Now I have a clean backup of my first DVD.
